Hi, I am new here! And there is a TL;DR at the bottom. :)
Hello, my name is Danielle, and I live in the San Diego County of California, USA. I have lived in California my whole life, in the desert and now by the beach.
Some hobbies I have are watching birds in my backyard, day trips, roller skating and inline skating, hiking, thrifting, going to concerts (I recently went to my first rave too! Latest concert was Alice Cooper - he still sounds so amazing), trying to better myself (joining a community emergency response team) and more. I enjoy bright colors, trippy things, glitter, tiki, animals, and much more.
I love strange movies, horror and b-movies (especially when MST3k or Rifftrax help it along) So many things in this world interest me.
For new things with me, I am starting to learn how to work with sourdough - got my first starter! I am fostering a dog from a local rescue for older dogs.
The thrifting above is what brought me here. I have a few types of things I started collecting from thrift stores and estate sales - compacts, sun-catchers, hands. But something that has really drawn me is paper products - bookplates, matches, old magazines, old books, and... I have a ton of vintage postcards because of that hobby! I recently realized I could be sending out to more places, and I can ease up on sending the avalanche to my family and friends! So now I am here.Also from here, some of my first people I sent cards to had notes about liking cool stamps. I sadly didn't have anything extra special for them. However, now I have purchased my first set of vintage stamps, and am planning to go to a stamp show in early 2026!

TL;DR - That being said, above interests are just about me, not guidance for any post card selection! I'm excited for anything, including things I wouldn't have thought of myself. The element of surprise is always a delight.
Including if you have something weird or NSFW. I have a quirky sense of humor and can appreciate most things!
