Hello, my name is Karissa and I live in Miami, Florida which is called the Capital of Latin America. People from all over the world live here. Miami is a paradise November thru March. One of my favorite activities is going to the Atlantic Ocean. It is very relaxing to stand in the water and let the waves crash over you. In the past I lived in Las Vegas and Seattle.

I love to write postcards and also have several snail mail pen pals and contribute to the charity Letters Against Isolation. I’m a retired high school teacher. I used to teach history, government and geography. I love politics and learning about different cultures. Please write a little about what it is like where you live.

It’s very hot here half of the year so I spend a lot of time inside reading, doing crafts, watching movies/TV and cuddling my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Most of my favorite books and shows are thrillers and mysteries. I’d like to learn to make stained glass and rent a beach house in Key West Florida.
