Hello. My name is Evgeny, 57 years old. I was born in the city of Sarov, where I have lived most of my life. There are less than 100 thousand inhabitants in my city. There is a lot of forest around, and in the center there is a 17th-century monastery building. It was destroyed, but is now being restored. Saint Seraphim lived next to him in the 18th and 19th centuries. The saint is greatly revered by the Russian Orthodox Church. I am not too religious, but I respect the history, religion, traditions and culture of my people. And in my city, in 1949, the first Soviet atomic bomb was created. Since childhood, I have enjoyed reading books about history, adventures, geography and travel, making models of rockets and airplanes and other crafts. Every summer I spent in a village where there is a river, a forest, fields and many friends. I loved riding my bike and watching the trains pass by. After school, I served in the army in the engineering troops. Then I graduated from university and started working at school as a history teacher. My daughter is now 25 years old. She is studying to be a room designer. I love her and hope she will be happy and successful.
